Just so that we are clear, I am not some demented aging earth child running around with flowers in my hair trying to hitch a ride to San Francisco, promise - I just happened to grow up by one of the channels of one of the best chalk rivers in the world and surrounded by willow trees, prosaic I know, but that's me! I am about to try and turn my nanonovel into the real thing.
